AF&PA Congratulates WestRock CEO Steve Voorhees on Being Named RISI 2018 North American CEO of the Year

WASHINGTON - American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President & Chief Executive Officer Donna Harman congratulated WestRock Chief Executive Officer Steve Voorhees on being named RISI 2018 North American CEO of the Year. Voorhees, an AF&PA board member since 2013, formally received the honor at RISI’s North American Conference in San Francisco today (10/11).

“Steve Voorhees never hesitates to share his deep knowledge of our industry and roll up his sleeves and put in the hard work needed to advance solutions in support of our entire industry. That quality of leadership has earned him respect, inspired teamwork and played an integral role in our ability to grow the economy and create American manufacturing jobs. Congratulations to Steve for this well-deserved honor and recognition.”

Voorhees had served as WestRock CEO since 2015 and previously held the position of CEO of RockTenn. Prior to that, he held a number of executive leadership roles at RockTenn, including president and chief operating officer, executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer.
