This year, five companies were chosen to receive six sustainability awards from 23 outstanding submissions across the industry: Leadership in Sustainability awards were given to KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation’s Longview Mill (Energy Efficiency/Greenhouse Gas Reduction); RockTenn (Paper Recovery for Recycling); Domtar (Safety, and Sustainable Forest Management); and Georgia-Pacific Brunswick Cellulose Operation (Water). Graphic Packaging International won the Innovation in Sustainability award.
The winning projects are representative of the ingenuity, innovation and hard work taking place across the industry, putting us on the path to achieving the industry’s sustainability goals by 2020.
