AF&PA Applauds Congressional Passage of Comprehensive Tax Reform

WASHINGTON – American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman praised House and Senate passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act Conference Report and issued the following statement:

“We applaud the House and Senate for passage of tax reform legislation that brings America and its paper and wood products industry another step closer to robust job creation, economic growth and competitiveness. With more than 900,000 employees in rural and urban communities across 45 states, we are one of the largest manufacturing sectors in the nation with an ability to thrive with pro-growth tax policy in place. We look forward to the President’s signature on this monumental legislation.”
